TNT scores exclusive off-net cable rights from NBCUniversal Television & New Media Distribution to air Grimm, a drama series inspired by the classic Grimm Brother’s Fairy Tales.
The show centers on Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), who discovers he’s descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as Grimms. He soon finds his responsibilities as a detective increasingly at odds with his new responsibilities as a Grimm. Also starring in Grimm are Russell Hornsby as Hank, Bitsie Tulloch as Juliette, Silas Weir Mitchell as Monroe, Sasha Roiz as Captain Renard, Reggie Lee as Sgt. Wu, Bree Turner as Rosalee and Claire Coffee as Adalind. (via TNT)
TNT will begin airing the first 3 seasons of the series in early 2015. The fourth season of Grimm which premieres on NBC Friday, October 24, 9/8c will be available to join the TNT line-up in the fall of 2015.
