As you can see from the featured photo, I’m 100% a member of the Clone Club! I started watching Orphan Black back in 2013 and was instantly hooked. Seasons 1 and 2 were insane and action-packed with lots of secrets and mystery surrounding Sarah (Tatiana Maslany), her sisters/fellow clones, and wonderful Felix, our brother-sister. Of course, with the way season 2 ended and the reveal of a set of male clones, things are now even more bizarre. Suffices to say, those of us in the Clone Club have lots of questions. Well, we’re closer to getting some answers. Yesterday, BBC America announced that production for Season 3 is officially underway in Toronto, AND we got a new synopsis about some of the things we can expect:
Tatiana Maslany and Ari Millen square off for an explosive new season…
Season three plunges the clone sisterhood into unexpected territory with the realization that they’re not alone. Just when they thought they knew their enemies and allies, season three reveals our clones are more vulnerable than ever before. Highly trained, identical male-soldiers raise more questions than answers. Who are these new clones? Who created them? And more importantly, why do they exist? Sarah, Cosima, Alison and Helena are stronger together than they are apart, but this season will put that bond to the test. Will they forge towards their truth, or fall at the feet of those who seek to control them?
YES, these are definitely important questions that need to be answered. However something tells me that the road to solving these mysteries will be anything but straightforward.
Tatiana Maslany will be returning in her unprecedented lead role as multiple clones. And to be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if we meet even more of Sarah, Alison, Cosima, Helena, and Rachel’s “sisters.”
Returning in a lead role is Ari Millen, who plays the newly discovered male clones – Mark, the Prolethean cult follower and Rudy, a prisoner of war. Also back this season is Jordan Gavaris as Sarah’s fiery foster brother Felix, Dylan Bruce as Paul, an army officer working for secret forces in the clone world, Maria Doyle Kennedy as Sarah and Felix’s duplicitous foster mother Mrs. S, Kristian Bruun as Donnie, Alison’s husband, Evelyne Brochu as Dyad Scientist and Cosima’s lover Delphine, Kevin Hanchard as Art, a detective caught in the clone trap, Michiel Huisman as Cal, father to Sarah’s daughter Kira (Skyler Wexler) and Zoé De Grand Maison as Gracie, a Prolethean escapee.
Orphan Black Official and Tatiana also shared these photos on twitter of the first week of filming:

They look like they’re having so much fun! Hopefully, as we get closer to the premiere date, we’ll get promotional photos or even a trailer!
What are you most looking forward to in Orphan Black’s third season?
