A sneak peek into Constantine, Season 1, Episode 4, “Feast of Friends” airing tonight on NBC at 10/9c.
Constantine continues to get better and better with each episode. Last week on episode 3, “The Devil’s Vinyl,” John Constantine (Matt Ryan) went up against Papa Midnite (Michael James Shaw), a voodoo priest who an entertaining, well-dressed badass. Papa Midnite didn’t even have to move from his seat, when his henchmen took down Constantine so he could tie him to grate and began to bleed him dry to try to get the information he wanted. I know it’s only three episodes into hopefully the first of many seasons, but for one second I thought Papa Midnite was going to successfully take out John Constantine. Thanks to Zed Martin (Angélica Celaya) being the fabulous and insightful person that she is, Constantine’s life was saved. In the end of this truly fantastic episode Constantine, Zed, and Chas (Charles Halford) were able to save the soul of loving wife Jasmine Fell (Joelle Carter) and hoards of college students.
Tonight on Constantine, season 1, episode 4, “Feast of Friends,” which guest stars Jonjo O’Neill as Gary Lester and Alkoya Brunson as Clifford:
Constantine’s old friend Gary Lester accidentally releases a powerful demon with a killer appetite in Atlanta and John is forced to determine exactly what he is prepared to sacrifice in his battle with the underworld. (via NBC)
