Henson).
In the pilot airing tonight on FOX at 9 PM (ET|PT), we see Lucious Lyon a former bad boy who becomes the CEO of Empire Entertainment has been delivered some devastating health news. When he learns what will become of his body due to his disease, he decides to take one of his three sons under his wing to prepare him to take over Empire Entertainment.
Who will Lucious choose, his favorite and youngest son Hakeem, the musical prodigy and middle son Jamal, or eldest son and current CFO of Empire Entertainment Andre. Like all plans nothing ever goes perfectly and for Lucious the game changer comes in the form of his ex-wife Cookie Lyon. Cookie after spending 17 years in prison has been released almost a decade early AND Cookie “wants half of her company back!”
