Glee is taking its final bow. Get a sneak peek into the 2-hour premiere of the final season of Glee airing tonight on FOX at 8 PM (ET|PT).
When we left the Glee gang at the end of season 5 in episode 20, “The Untitled Rachel Berry Project,” Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) was on her way to Los Angeles to try her luck at TV stardom. Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) and Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) were attempting to live together again. Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet) after his amicable break-up with Mercedes Jones (Amber Riley) goes back to Ohio and ends up at McKinley in an attempt to figure out what he wants to do with his life. Mercedes is on the rise in her music career and is about to embark on a nation-wide tour with Brittany S. Pierce (Heather Morris) as one of her back-up dancers. And Artie Abrams (Kevin McHale) is continuing on at film school.
Tonight we begin to say farewell to former New Directions members and others as Glee embarks on its final season. Season 6 of Glee begins with a 2-hour premiere airing on FOX at 8 PM (ET|PT). In Glee, season 6, episode 1, “Loser Like Me,” Rachel returns to Lima after her attempt to become a TV actress fails. Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) has succeeded and McKinley no longer has an arts program which led Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) to take over as the choir director for Vocal Adrenaline. Also, Blaine is back in Ohio leading The Warblers.
In season 6, episode 2, “Homecoming,” former New Directions members Artie, Mercedes, Brittany, Tina Cohen-Chang (Jenna Ushkowitz), Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron), Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera), and Noah ‘Puck’ Puckerman (Mark Salling) come back to Lima to help with the Glee Club.
