My daddy made me a serial killer. Get your sneak peek into tonight’s episode of Gotham airing on FOX at 9 PM (ET/PT).
When Gotham came back from its winter hiatus I’ll admit I was disappointed with the season 1 mid-season premiere, episode 11, “Rogue’s Gallery“. The episode appeared like a filler episode, especially since it was two weeks before the next new Gotham episode aired. However, since season 1, episode 12, “What the Little Bird Told Him“ all the things that I loved about Gotham has returned.
Last week on Gotham, episode 14, “The Fearsome Dr. Crane“, Fish (Jada Pinkett Smith) puts a ding in Oswald’s (Robin Lord Taylor) day by making Maroni (David Zayas) aware that Oswald has been working with Falcone (John Doman) behind his back. For all of 2 seconds it looked like Oswald was done for. But Oswald Cobblepot appears to be able to get out of ANY situation and is able to scurry away seconds before being crushed to death. So he lives another day, to scheme once again.
“The Fearsome Dr. Crane” was part one of a 2-part episode and in the episode we meet Dr. Gerald Crane (Julian Sands). Dr. Crane is targeting Gotham victims and murdering them with their phobias. We find out later in the episode, along for the ride on Dr. Crane’s killing spree was his son Jonathan Crane (Charlie Tahan). Jonathan Crane in DC Comics Batman canon is The Scarecrow.
Tonight we see the conclusion of the 2-part episode in Gotham, episode 15, “The Scarecrow” that was directed by Nick Copus and written by Bruno Heller which guest stars include Morena Baccarinn as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, Babs Olusanmokun as Mace, Eisa Davis as Judith Barthel, Peter Jay Fernandez as Doctor, Julian Sands as Dr. Gerald Crane, and Charlie Tahan as Jonathan Crane:
Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) set out to stop Gerald Crane, a biology teacher who has been harvesting the glands of his murder victims. Meanwhile, after finding herself in an unusual setting, Mooney continues plotting to gain power, and Falcone attempts to change Maroni’s plan for the Penguin. Then, Bruce (David Mazouz) takes a treacherous hike, (via FOX)
Now let’s get a further sneak peek into “The Scarecrow” with two video clips followed by promotional images from the episode. In the first video clip, Bruce prepares for hike similar to a one his father had done in the past. Prior to his departure he gets a little bit of pep talk from Alfred (Sean Pertwee). In the second clip, Fish continues to be a bad ass even though she is down and out and gives a chilling warning to some seedy men. The promotional images from the episode feature Alfred Pennyworth , Bruce Wayne, Detective James Gordon, Detective Harvey Bullock, Dr. Leslie Thompkins, and Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith).
