Tonight’s new Scandal features a six month time-jump and some very new and strange bedfellows! Get a sneak peek of the “It’s Hard Out Here for a General”, airing at 9pm ET|PT on ABC.
- Are Fitzlivia/Olitz broken up for sure? Will we ever hear about Liv’s abortion again?
- Does this mean Liv is going to rekindle things with Jake?
- What’s up with the relationship between Papa Pope and Jake? Are they besties again?
- It’s pretty clear Mellie is gearing up to run for the presidency; if she turn to Liv for help running her campaign, will Liv accept?
- WHERE IS MAMA POPE?
Judging from the synopsis from the upcoming episode, we’ll be getting some answers (and I may/may not like them). “It’s Hard Out Here for a General”, written by Severiano Canales and directed by Tom Verica:
It’s been six months since Olivia and Fitz have broken up, and they are both handling their newfound freedom in very different ways. Meanwhile, the Pope and Associates team take on a case that could lead to a national crisis. (via ABC)
Broken up? SIX MONTHS?! *sigh*
Well at least OPA is hard at work, managing crises like the bosses they are.
Watch these clips from tonight’s show. In the first, we see that Liv is back on good terms with Papa Pope, at least they’re having sinner together. It seems that Rowan might be lamenting the Olitz break-up.
In the second clip, we find out who OPA’s client is tonight, and it’s a juicy one.
In the last video, Mellie writes a tell-all book and wants Liv’s advice on marketing it to the public.

There are all sorts of strange bedfellows in Season 5B! Liv and her Dad… Liv and Mellie! I’m also curious about why the head of the National Security Agency needs a crisis manager.
