Inspector Fisher is back tonight and this time every member of Team Weller is under investigation! Get a sneak peek of the new Blindspot, airing at 10pm ET|PT on NBC.
WHAT IS ORION?!
OK, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself, but it feels like last week’s episode (“Scientists Hollow Fortune”) significantly moved us forward in learning about several characters.
First we learned that there are other “super-soldiers” like Jane/Taylor! We spent the episode with Charlie Napier, a former Army sergeant who was presumed dead (after an IED explosion). However, we found out that a private contractor, Northlake, faked Charlie’s death (among other military service-people) and were performing experiments. Northlake doctors were testing a “super-soldier” serum! Unfortunately Charlie was killed: in a hand-to-hand fight to Jane, Charlie got her gun and was about to shoot; Weller shot him first to save Jane. It was clear that Jane wasn’t very happy about this decision.
But in the end, being around Charlie was enough to trigger some of Jane’s memories of Navy Seal training. We also saw memories of Jane being welcome to “Orion” by a commanding officer. Similarly, Jane had a memory of walking past Tom Carter (CIA’s Deputy Director) and he was talking about “Orion” too!
Later, when Jane asked her ex-fiance about “Orion”, he responded: “Orion is where you died.” WHATTTT does that mean???
In other developments, we finally saw some closure between Weller and his Dad. Bill didn’t have anything to do with Taylor Shaw’s kidnapping, but did admit to trying to kill himself that night.
More Weller family news: his Sister, Sarah, is secretly dating Reade! I’m here for that relationship, but Weller might not be…
In tonight’s episode “Erase Weary Youth”:
A MOLE IS DISCOVERED WITHIN THE FBI—After a tip reveals there’s a mole within the FBI’s New York Office, the team must hunt for the operative while facing extreme scrutiny from Inspector Fischer (guest star John Hodgman). The team’s deepest secrets threaten to be exposed, and everyone is a potential suspect – but some, especially Jane Doe have more to hide. (via NBC)
A mole?! You mean other than Zapata when she was working for Tom Carter?
And how wonderful, Inspector Fischer is back to conduct more investigations… *SARCASM*
Check out two clips from the upcoming show. In the first (via SpoilersGuide.com), Patterson is using some gym time to work out her mourning of Cutie Boyfriend David. And in the second clip (via People.com exclusive) we see that Team Weller isn’t done with the Russians:
