Rumple has a plan to help the Heroes save Killian, but can we really trust his intent? Get a sneak peek of tonight’s Once Upon a Time, airing at 8:00pm ET|PT on ABC.
Confession time! I’m a huge Snow/Charming shipper, but I can’t lie to you… seeing Young Snow’s relationship with Hercules in last week’s Once Upon a Time (“Labor of Love“) definitely brought the feels! In the past, it was Herc who first showed Snow how to be a Hero. And in the present, working with Herc to defeat Cerberus renewed Snow’s faith in herself and her badass skills. Snowcules FTW!
Hercules was able to complete his final task and ascend to Olympus (despite Uncle Hades’ attempts to stop him). But we still ended the episode with Killian being held captive. And as if the physical torture wasn’t enough, now Hades planned to continue with the emotional and mental torture of having Killian decide which of his friends must remain in the Underworld when the Heroes helped another soul escape. YIKES!
Tonight’s episode “Devil’s Due” was written by Jane Espenson and directed by Alrick Riley. Check out the full synopsis below:
GOLD FINDS MOTIVATION TO HELP EMMA RESCUE HOOK AS HADES BEGINS TO UNLEASH HIS FURY ON THE HEROES—Hook’s captivity takes a dark turn when Hades threatens to condemn him to the River of Lost Souls after Hook refuses to choose which three of his friends will have to remain in the Underworld. Meanwhile, Gold is suddenly eager to help Emma, Snow, David, Regina, Robin and Henry find Hook so he can return home to Belle; but in order to do so, he must find his ex-wife Milah in the Underworld and ask for her help. In Fairy Tale Land flashbacks, Rumple and Milah face a life-or-death crisis concerning their son, Baelfire, that forces Rumple to make a deal that will haunt him. (via ABC)
Thanks to ABC we have two sneak peeks from the upcoming show to share. In the first video, Rumple comes up with a plan to help Emma free Killian that involves borrowing someone’s aura to breach Hades’ barriers.
And in the second, when Killian refuses to carve the names of his friends on headstones to stay in the Underworld, Hades (guest star Greg Germann) threatens to send him to the River of Lost Souls:

Hmmmm, what is Rumple really up to? I wonder if this has anything to do with what Peter Pan proposed to help him get back to the land of the living.
And OMG Killian is so brave and loyal! I adore him so much and it’s time to free him from Hades!
Take a look at 12 images from “Devil’s Due”, featuring the flashbacks with Rumple, Milah, and Baelfire.
