Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is in theaters this June. Check out the synopsis, two film trailers, and character posters!

One of my favorite childhood memories is fangirling over Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my younger brother! We loved the cartoon series, and when the three live-action films came out in the 1990s, we begged our Dad to take us to the theaters to see it. We bought the movies when the came out on VHS and every Friday, my brother and I would binge the movies while eating pizza and chillin with our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle stuffed animals (he had Leonardo, I had Raphael 😉 )
In a familiar pattern, we’re getting reboots of many of our childhood faves, and the Ninja Turtles have also gotten a modern make-over. In 2014, Paramount released their new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) starring Megan Fox (April O’Neil), Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo), Johnny Knoxville (Leonardo’s voice), Jeremy Howard (Donatello), Danny Woodburn (Splinter), Tony Shalhoub (Splinter’s voice), and Tohoru Masamune (Shredder).
And in a little less than a month, the TMNT sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, will hit theaters! This time, Stephen Amell (Arrow, what!) will be joining the cast as fan-favorite Casey Jones, along with Gary Anthony Williams and Stephen Farrelly as the baddies we love to hate, Bebop and Rocksteady! Check out the synopsis and two film trailers below:
Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to theaters this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil, Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones.
After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
These films are still the BEST combination of action-adventure and hilarity! Also, Amell is FIVEEVER playing a vigilante…and we love it!
