The new action-packed Underworld: Blood Wars international trailer gives us a first look at the continuation of the Vampire vs. Lycan feud.
Last week Sony Pictures gave us our first look at the upcoming Underworld film and there’s so much to be excited about!
First, Kate Beckinsale is back as Selene and is more fierce as ever.
Theo James (AKA Divergent‘s Four), who was the badass Vampire David in Underworld: Awakening, returns to Team Selene.
Charles Dance, who most of us recognize as the head of House Lannister (Game of Thrones), is also back as David’s father Thomas and a reluctant participant in Selene’s plans.
In the trailer below, we see more familiar faces who are joining the Vampire vs. Lycan feud: Tobias Menzies (also of Game of Thrones and Outlander fame) is Maurius, a Lycan leader and Selene’s new adversary.
We also get glimpses of new cast members Bradley James (Merlin), Lara Pulver (SHERLOCK), James Faulkner (Da Vinci’s Demons), and Daisy Head.
Underworld: Blood Wars hits theaters early next year on January 6, 2017.
The next installment in the blockbuster franchise, UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.
