On Wednesday, November 30 Vikings returns for the second half of Season 4. Get a sneak peek of the midseason premiere, including Lagertha’s new lover!

A couple months ago, HISTORY debuted a new trailer for Vikings Season 4B at Comic-Con and it was insanity!
After violent and overwhelming defeat in Paris (at the hands of Rollo), Ragnar exiled himself from Kattegat. In the Season 4A finale, we saw that almost a decade had passed. Ragnar returned to his home to meet his wife and adult sons… none who were particularly excited to see their father.
But the pressing question was whether Ragnar would still be king.
In the trailer, we saw the manifestation of the time jump and the emerging conflicts: Ragnar vs. Ecbert and Lagertha vs. Aslaug.
At the same time, Bjorn and Ivar asserted their own leadership.
So much drama to look forward too, yet we still didn’t have a premiere date… until this week!
HISTORY shared that Vikings is returning for part two of Season 4 on November 30 at 9:00pm ET|PT, moving to Wednesday nights.
What can we expect in 4B?
In the midseason premiere, Ragnar’s reappearance in Kattegat triggers a chain of events no one – except the Seer – could have ever imagined.
Ragnar’s return to Kattegat is motivated by his desire to see what’s become of his sons. But he also wants to to handle unfinished business in Wessex with his frenemy King Ecbert. Does this mean we should also expect a Ragnar/Magnus meeting???
At the same time, Lagertha plans a power play in Kattegat, and Bjorn prepares to fulfill his long-held dream to explore the Mediterranean in a sleek new boat built for him by Floki.

Did you see that Lagertha has a new lady friend??? In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Michael Hirst, tells us more about Lagertha’s new lover, Astrid.
And about the Lagertha/Aslaug conflict, Hirst says: “All I can say is that that very, very deep and divisive relationship will culminate. We’re dealing with the endgame.”
*FLAILS* I can’t wait! What are you most looking forward too in Season 4B?
