Despite the Coliver break-up, Oliver officially joins the Keating 5 in time for their newest case. Watch a sneak peek of tonight’s How to Get Away with Murder!

You know how last week’s How to Get Away with Murder premiere was titled “We’re Good People Now“?
Well after that episode, I couldn’t be more skeptical of that claim if I tried.
After what seems like a low-key summer, Annalise and the Keating 5 are back at Middleton University. However, the drama quickly resurges. Someone is papering campus with flyers of Annalise calling her a murderer. But that might not be the worst of her problems. There’s a move by the Board of Trustees to remove Annalise from her teaching position (ergo her decision to open up a pro-bono law clinic). Plus, a completely shaven Frank is lurking around and might have some ill intent in mind.
It also seems like the Keating 5 are struggling: Oliver has joined the team, but breaks up with Connor; Laurel is trying to connect with Frank with no luck (maybe this is for the best…); Asher and Michaela are still sleeping together in secret, but Asher is now an undergrad RA to make some extra money and Michaela might be using alcohol to cope with the stress of getting away with murder (oh, and learning that your former lover is a sociopathic killer!); and Wes seems to be OK… sure he watches his biological father die after being shot in the head, but he’s back in school and has a new girlfriend, Meggy!
But the premiere also lauches this season’s mystery… someone is killed when Annalise’s house is set on fire and we have no idea who is carried out on the stretcher. However, showrunners promise that every week we will learn one person who is still alive after the fire (via Entertainment Weekly). So let’s get ready to do some process of elimination!
In tonight’s episode “There Are Worse Things Than Murder” (written by Angela Robinson, directed by Zetna Fuentes):
With her job on the line, Annalise fights back against the Middleton University Board. Meanwhile, secrets are exposed as the Keating 5 compete to take on the case of a battered woman accused of murdering her husband. (via ABC)
Watch two clips from the upcoming show. In the first Connor tells everyone about they break-up and they all think he cheated on Oliver. And in the second, we learn about the case of the week, getting parole for a woman who has been in prison for 30 years for murdering her husband:
Not much shocks the Keating crew…unless it's a break-up. pic.twitter.com/tKqXhgc8jl
