Red Nose Day Actually is finally airing in the U.S. this month! Watch the trailer and enjoy behind-the-scenes photos from filming.

Ever since our friends across the pond got the Love Actually mini-sequel this March, Red Nose Day Actually, I’ve been chomping at the bit for this reunion to make it across the pond. We’re so close!
Red Nose Day is a biennial telethon held in March by the British charity Comic Relief. The charity raises millions each year for children and young people living in poverty. Celebrities also get involved in the fun by participating in hilarious sketches and performances that air on TV during the fundraising night.
Back in 2015, NBC and their partners launched a sister program in the U.S. In the first two years, they’ve raised more than $60 million. Beneficiaries of Red Nose Day grants include charity organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America, charity:water, Children’s Health Fund: Feeding America, Gavi: the Vaccine Alliance, National Council of La Raza, Save the Children, and the Global Fund.
This year, Chris Hardwick will host the third annual The Red Nose Day Special, featuring comedy, music performances, and compelling films shedding light on kids in need. For example, Julia Roberts will take us to Nairobi, Kenya to visit one of Africa’s largest slums, Kibera, where the need for essential medication is critical.
The special will also include the much-anticipated Red Nose Day Actually, a short Love Actually, reunion film from writer-director Richard Curtis (who is also the founder of Red Nose Day). Practically all the actors from the original film return, including Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Rowan Atkinson, Martine McCutcheon, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lucia Moniz, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson, Bill Nighy and Marcus Brigstocke.
Even more exciting, Curtis will reveal an exclusive version of the film with never-before-seen footage just for U.S. viewers!
The short film revisits our beloved characters from the 2003 holiday romantic comedy and we find out what they’re up to 14 years later, in 2017. Today, NBC shared the first trailer, and you better believe it still gives me ALL THE FEELS. Watch now:
