Preacher is a wild ride that we can’t wait to see more of! Season two premieres this Sunday on AMC with the second episode airing on Monday. Let’s talk about what we’re looking forward to this season!
Let’s get the basics out of the way first. Preacher will premiere Sunday, June 25, at 10/9c after Fear The Walking Dead. From there, it will air in its normal time slot, Mondays at 9/8c. So, we’re gifted with back-to-back nights of Preacher goodness! Episode one is titled, “On The Road”, and episode two is titled, “Mumbai Sky Tower”.
Season two will also consist of thirteen episodes and after Monday’s episode, there will be an episode of Talking Preacher with Chris Hardwick to break down the episode and season to come! Guests will be: Dominic Cooper (Jesse Custer), Graham McTavish (Saint of Killers), and Sam Catlin (Executive Producer).

Now, what am I most looking forward to this season? Here’s my top five!
1. The road trip to find God!
Well, we know that Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy are taking a road trip to find God. How will those three adjust to life on the road? Will Tulip and Cassidy’s secret come out and if it does, how will Jesse react to knowing they’ve had sex?
Personally, I think that Cassidy has some feelings for Tulip, so it should be interesting to see how that situation plays out. Especially considering how things look to be heating up for Jesse and Tulip this season…
2. How will the Saint of Killers make his debut?
I’ve been wondering this since we found out his backstory last season when DeBlanc and Fiore went into his purgatory to get him out. Based on this “behind the scenes” look from AMC, we’ll be seeing SoK pretty early in the season! There’s nothing like a good cat-and-mouse premise, and with our favorites on the road, this is the perfect time for a chase.
“Hopefully people will recognize all the elements of what makes Preacher, Preacher in that first ten minutes.” — Sam Catlin, Executive Producer

3. Will Eugene get out of Hell?
Right now, we know that DeBlanc and Fiore can get in and out of other dimensions. Could they possibly get Eugene out of Hell? Will Jesse use his powers to somehow get him back? I think we’ll be seeing Eugene as hallucinations a lot, but whether or not he makes it out of Hell early in this season is up for debate.
4. If Eugene comes back how will he deal with the destruction of Annville?
There’s no telling where Eugene will pop out once he’s released from Hell, but it might be the same place he was banished. Which would mean poor Eugene could show up in a destroyed Annville with no idea what happened and the rest of the world wondering how he was the lone survivor…
5. Finally, is DeBlanc really dead?
In all the lead up to this season, we’ve seen Fiore but we haven’t seen DeBlanc. What does this mean for him? Can the Saint of Killers actually kill an angel or demon permanently?
Which brings me to another question I have about DeBlanc and Fiore…are they Genesis’ parents? I really think they are and their human forms are just that…chosen forms to get them to and from places in the world with few questions.
What do you think will happen this season on Preacher and what are you most looking forward to seeing? There’s no doubt it’s going to be insane, but Preacher always delivers on the fun! We can’t wait!
