The Bellas bring their a cappella stylings and hilarity to their post-college lives in the new Pitch Perfect 3 trailer. Watch here!
They’re back! Yes, the Barden Bellas graduated at the end of Pitch Perfect 2 and seemed to walk off into the sunset after their celebrated win at the Collegiate A Cappella World Championships in Copenhagen. However, the ladies (and Universal Pictures) have decided that post-graduate life doesn’t mean they can’t come together and still make some awesome music.
Pitch Perfect 3 hits theaters on December 22 and promises the same hilarity coupled with awesome tunes. The newly released trailer gives us a first look about how the Bellas have been faring in the real world and their decision to reunite for an overseas USO tour. Unfortunately, their a cappella stylings aren’t as appreciated, especially when another girl group gets snippy. We are so lucky that our faves, Gail and John, are here to narrate the whole journey for us 😉
Now graduated from college and out in the real world where it takes more than a cappella to get by, the Bellas return in Pitch Perfect 3, the next chapter in the beloved series that has taken in more than $400 million at the global box office.
After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there aren’t job prospects for making music with your mouth. But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, this group of awesome nerds will come together to make some music, and some questionable decisions, one last time.
Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Hana Mae Lee, Ester Dean, Alexis Knapp, Chrissie Fit, Kelley Jakle, Shelley Regner, Elizabeth Banks and John Michael Higgins all return and are joined by additions including John Lithgow and Ruby Rose.
Pitch Perfect 3 is again produced by Paul Brooks of Gold Circle Entertainment and Max Handelman & Elizabeth Banks of Brownstone Productions, and is directed by Trish Sie (Step Up All In).
This is going to be so much fun, and with the tagline about the Bellas’ “Farewell Tour”, this likely means a close to the Pitch Perfect franchise.
