Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit theaters in December and we have a behind-the-scenes look at filming courtesy of D23 and new character posters! Get all the exciting details here!

For Star Wars fans, D23 gave them plenty of reasons to flail and be excited for the coming additions to the Star Wars universe. While we didn’t get a teaser trailer for the next installment, The Last Jedi, Disney provided a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film.
We get special shots of the new creatures that will make an appearance in the film, but most importantly, we get to see the cast interact with each other in some pretty sweet and emotional circumstances.
With the passing of Carrie Fisher in December 2016, Star Wars: The Last Jedi has a lot of fans already anticipating how hard it will be see their beloved General on screen for the last time.
In addition to some beautiful moments with Fisher and other members of the cast, including Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), we get shots of Daisy Ridley’s Rey interacting with Luke Skywalker. John Boyega (Finn) teasing the director for not knowing how to make Chewbacca noises, and Gwendoline Christie debuting Captain Phasma’s shiny new costume.
D23 also introduced us to Laura Dern’s, Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo. Benicio Del Toro will be joining the cast as well, but his character is only know as DJ, and this man looks like a space criminal, but one that you don’t hate. Like Han. {{moment of silence for Han}}
Another new face is Kelly Marie Tran who will be playing a mechanic for the Resistance named Rose!
We can’t wait for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and we look forward to the teaser trailer that will be making its way out soon! After all, the The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15, 2017!
