Stranger Things drops its second season on Netflix on October 27th. Let’s take a look at what could happen this season in Hawkins!

This show had me hooked after the first five minutes of the first episode. It’s different, but also familiar. The show captures all the fun parts of 80s horror and mystery and packages them into something that’s not hooky or cheesy. The Duffer brothers have something very special on their hands with this character driven, coming-of-age series, and I’m so excited about season two hitting Netflix on the 27th!
Last season ended and we knew two things for certain:
1. Eleven is back in the Upside Down and Hopper knows about it because he’s dropping off food for her in a secret entrance in the woods.
2. Will Byers didn’t get out of the Upside Down unscathed. We see him vomiting up a slug-like creature in the sink and his vision jumps between his home and the Upside Down version of it.
Then at SDCC, they presented the coolest trailer ever for any television series, in my opinion at least…
Will is still dealing with the after effects of being trapped in the Upside Down for so long. The group is joining forces to face down a evil that seems to have escaped the Upside Down…and Eleven is back!
We also get a few new characters, but Billy (Dacre Montgomery) and Max (Sadi Sink) are the only ones who get character posters even though Sean Astin will be in this season as well!
How they’ll come into play is to be determined…
What do you think will happen this coming season? Will Hawkins survive this new evil? Is the whole world turning upside down?
Can you find the clues in this one? Maybe these are episode titles? What do you think?
The official synopsis for season two:
It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived. {Via Netflix}
You can also check out the awesome character posters below and ask yourself…is there a reason newcomer, Dacre Montgomery (Billy), is looking the opposite direction as everyone else?
