As a special treat, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has shared Sam’s and Cait’s original chemistry test! They’re doing the scene in Season 1’s “The Reckoning” after Jamie has saved Claire from Black Jack Randall and he demands an apology for her thoughtlessness. It’s intense, but it’s super swoony too! Watch below:
For Valentine’s Day, the Outlander cast treated us to a very special message! They reflect on our favorite couples and the things that make them so romantic. For example, Sam and Cait talk about about the most romantic thing Jamie has done for Claire (giving her his mother’s pearl necklace); Lauren Lyle and Caesar Domboy discuss Fergus giving up all his women for Marsali; Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin talk about how Roger finding Jamie can be considered a romantic gesture for Bree; and John Bell recalls Young Ian’s romantic tryst with the bar maid.
The video is really sweet and hilarious too. Watch here:

This week, Caitriona Balfe won Best Actress in a Leading Role – Drama at the Irish Film & Television Academy Awards for her work on Outlander! *SIDENOTE* I love her haircut!
During the red carpet, Cait spoke with Entertainment on RTÉ about ongoing filming Season 4. Apparently they’re about halfway done and Cait also shares how much she has enjoyed working with Maria Doyle Kennedy, who plays Jamie’s Auntie Jocasta (and was also in attendance at the IFTA Awards):

Last, but never least, we got a first look at “adult” Rollo for Season 4. He will certainly be a fitting companion for Young Ian!
