Life has to mean something. We’ve learned that over the seasons on The Walking Dead, and this episode is no different. Here’s our preview for “Worth”!

“The time has come. Let us gather our like minded individuals and do what we need to do.”
Simon, you are so dead, my friend. And it’s not going to be an easy death. We’ve seen what Negan does to people he doesn’t even know. Can you imagine what he’s going to do to Simon for all his betrayals?! It’s going to be a mess.
In this sneak peak, we also see Daryl and Rosita running from walkers as they attempt to infiltrate the bullet making outpost and kill Eugene. That should be an interesting side trip…
Meanwhile, inside the outpost, Eugene is certainly letting his newfound power go to his head. He’s eating food while his Saviors are working to make sure they have enough bullets to make it look like they’re keeping up. I was really hoping that Eugene could redeem himself, and maybe there’s still time? We’ll have to wait and find out.
In the woods, Aaron has been found by the women of Oceanside, and he looks worse for the wear. I have no idea where this side story is going, but no one is truly invested in these characters. They could either be canon fodder for the finale when they ride in to save the day, or they are absorbed into the communities after Negan is captured. Sort of like what happened after the Governor died and the Woodbury residents moved into the prison back in S4.
How things will move forward will solely depend on whether Rick reads Carl’s letter and follows his wishes. What those are, we don’t know yet. You can bet that no matter what, Rick and Negan will face off before this season is over, but it looks like Negan needs to make an example of Simon (and maybe Dwight) before he starts thinking about Rick again.
And another thing…I really want to know what the deal with the helicopter is. I mean, who has jet fuel this late in the apocalypse?
