There’s one month left until The Walking Dead‘s tenth season airs on AMC! Lets take a look at what could be coming up for television’s top drama!

For ten years, The Walking Dead has graced our screens on Sunday nights from October through November and Feburary through March. Some seasons have bled over into December and April, but for the most part, it’s been the same after season two. Eight weeks of TWD, hiatus, and eight final weeks. Ten years on the air is a huge accomplishment, and season ten for The Walking Dead looks dramatic and emotional.
At SDCC, it was confirmed that this would be Danai Gurira’s last season as the katana-wielding badass, Michonne. That doesn’t mean she won’t show up somewhere else in the The Walking Dead universe, though. Since this is her last season on the flagship show, expect her storyline to be centered and, hopefully, end in a satisfying arc.
The main conflict appears to be with the Whisperers, and since last season ended with our group crossing the boundary line, it seems like Alpha knows this despite being miles away. If you didn’t remember, the Whisperers go south for winter, and they’re insanely gruesome. Negan talked a lot and was violent, but Alpha doesn’t talk much. Instead, she prefers her actions to speak for her. Heads on pikes as a boundary line for instance.
In the newest teaser for the season, each main character is given a bit of dialogue, telling how they can beat the Whisperers together. Much like the trailer, the final character we see is Michonne, and the light goes dark on her.
