We’ve been on the edge of our seats waiting for the final episode of season ten of The Walking Dead. You can watch the trailer here!

COVID-19 brought everything to a halt in March, including the editing process for The Walking Dead. As shows begin finishing up their episodes remotely, the final episode of season ten will premiere on October 4 at 9/8c! The episode will be available October 1 for AMC Premiere subscribers.
When we left out group, Michonne had gone after Rick, who seems to be alive somewhere north, and the others were getting ready for a battle with Beta and the Whisperers at Hilltop.
The final episode, titled “A Certain Doom,” seems to hint at a major character death. Take that with a grain of salt, though. We’ve seen Daryl Dixon in lots of sticky situations, and he’s made it out before. Also, considering Norman Reedus’ Dixon is one of the series remaining original cast members and biggest draws, his demise seems unlikely. If someone is going down, look for a secondary character or a death fake out.
We’ll also see the return of Maggie after season and a half absence, and the appearance of a masked figured, who some of speculated may be someone from our past.
The season finale will be followed by the newest addition to The Walking Dead universe, The Walking Dead: World Beyond. World Beyond already has my attention because it’s a limited series and will only run for two seasons. I’d like to see what the writers can do with a story that they already know where it’s going.
We’ve got the opening minutes of “A Certain Doom” from SDCC @ Home and the trailer for the season finale below! Let us know who you think may be on the way out this season.
