November 3
We tried to defeat your Monday blues with some Monday Funnies that included The Walking Dead Bad Lip Reading videos (Carl Poppa!!!) and a picture of the Supernatural cast posing as different characters with amazing accuracy. Lots of sneak peeks for Monday’s new TV episodes. The Originals producers Julie Plec and Michael Narducci took us behind the scenes of “Red Door” to tell us more about Mikael abducting Cami and Elijah being held captive by Lenore/Esther. We got a behind the scenes look at Gotham episode “Penguin’s Umbrella.” This episode introduced another DC Comics character, supervillian, Victor Zsasz and we got to see the fallout of James Gordon deciding to spare Oswald Cobblepot’s life. In the preview for Jane The Virgin‘s “Chapter Four,” Jane and Michael were in the midst of planning their wedding, but Jane seemed to be having some reservations. In the sneak peek of Sleepy Hollow‘s “Deliverance,” Moloch expressed new interest in Katrina, while Ichabod and Abbie try to decide the best way to handle Henry. And we wrapped the day of funnies, news, and previews by letting you all know Emmy and Tony award winner Neil Patrick Harris is slated to host a variety series on NBC sometime in the future.
November 4
We brought you the new The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 TV spot from Lionsgate, featuring Peeta addressing Panem and Katniss. We also posted this recap and review of the top TGiT TV moments from Thursday, October 30’s Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, and The Vampire Diaries. And Outlander STARZ launched 4 Droughtlander and we shared this extended clip of Claire and Rupert from season 1, episode 2 “Castle Leoch”.
November 5
Thanksgiving is around the corner and with the holiday comes the biggest parade of the year. We brought you details regarding the 88th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade which is held in New York City. New balloons will be introduced, more stars will be in attendance, and new Broadway hits will perform. Also, tonight we get an origin story for Felcity with Arrow season 3, episode 5, “The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak.” In this sneak peek we get to see Felicity in her goth days and how her talents in the past is causing drama for current day Starling City, along with that, we finally meet the mother who bore this amazing and kick-ass woman.
November 6
The 2014 Glamour Women of the Year honorees were announced this week and “The Breakthrough” recipient was Lupita Nyong’o. The 2013 Best Supporting Actress is amazing talent and beyond beautiful so it was exciting to share this news with you all along with her corresponding Glamour December cover. From fashion to music, Lorde the curator for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack released the music video for the first single “Yellow Flicker Beat” today. The music video was directed by Emily Kai Bock and is dark with lovely, brilliant pops of color.
Sneak peaks are staples on this site and we provided you another set of great ones. The Vampire Diaries season 6, episode 6, “The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get” we will get an insight into what is going on with Enzo who has been locked up by Tripp and the aftermath of Damon’s return to present day Mystic Falls, VA. In this week’s preview of Grey’s Anatomy, season 11, episode 6, “Don’t Let’s Not,” we see that things are still pretty awkward between Meredith and Maggie. Though Derek is trying to convince Meredith to open up, =her reaction isn’t very encouraging. Liv and Fitz are definitely rekindling our hope in this sneak peek of Scandal‘s season 4, episode 7, “Baby Made a Mess.” But Papa Pope and Jake are still bones of contention between them. In the preview of How to Get Away with Murder, Annalise and the Keating 5 are preparing for Rebecca’s trial, but it looks like Rebecca is still very suspicious.
November 7
BBC AMERICA is trying to kill us with the news they dished out today. We brought you the teaser trailer “You Don’t Own Me” for the upcoming third season of Orphan Black. And new fan favorite TV show Constantine airs it’s third episode “The Devil’s Vinyl” today and we brought you sneak peek of the episode that will bring a face-to-face confrontation between Papa Midnite and John Constantine. If the sneak peek wasn’t enough we also, included a behind-the-scenes look into the series from the show cast, creator, and writer.
November 8
Today we got some Downton Abbey goodies: ITV announced that they’ve renewed the show for series 6. Warner Bros. Records also released two previews of the upcoming Christmas at Downton Abbey holiday album, which will be available starting November 17.
We also brought you two new official clips from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, this teaser for the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey official trailer, which will be released during November 13’s episode of Scandal on ABC, and the final trailer from Columbia/Sony Pictures’ Annie remake, starring Quvenzhané Wallis and Jamie Foxx.
November 9
In this preview of Once Upon a Time, Regina and Robin talk about the complexities of their relationship. And in this sneak peek of Revenge, Daniel confronts Emily about her secret identity as Amanda Clarke.
