Time for more FLARROW!!! Get a sneak peek into the conclusion of the EPIC two-night crossover event, ending with Arrow season 3, episode 8, “The Brave and the Bold” airing tonight on the CW at 8|7c.
Last night we began the epic two-night crossover event with The Flash, season 1, episode 8, “Flash vs. Arrow.” Now it’s time for Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) to make his way to Starling City so we can conclude the crossover event with Arrow season 3, episode 8, “The Brave and the Bold” airing tonight on the CW at 8|7c .
On “Flash vs. Arrow” we got to witness Barry Allen have a complete bratty boy meltdown that not only alienated him from Iris West (Candice Patton) after he beat up her boyfriend Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett), but we got an action-packed and fast-paced fight scene between The Flash and Arrow (Stephen Amell). The episode overall was entertaining and had a lot of great dialogue. Both heroes exhibited moments that showed the worse of their character, but in the end Oliver was able to partake some wisdom onto Barry about how to approach his role as The Flash. As well as, how men like them never get the girl. That last piece of advice Ollie could have kept to himself. My favorite moments in the “Flash vs. Arrow” was a toss-up between the special effects and John Diggle (David Ramsey) being freaked out (and fanboy flailing) over how fast Barry is.
Up next on “The Brave and the Bold,” which guest stars Nick Tarabay as Harkness,
Oliver, Arsenal, and Diggle pursue a killer named Digger Harkness, they encounter an ARGUS team; Oliver and the Flash team up to try and stop Harkness. (via IMDb)
Now that Barry and Oliver have made up and The Flash has gained some pointers from Arrow, it is going to be interesting to see how Flarrow works together when they go after Harkness. Barry helping out the Starling City folks isn’t new, but him helping them out as a meta-human and with some Arrow like style is. The conclusion of the two-night crossover event will surely be wonderful.
