We’re getting two hours of goodness for the season premiere of The Librarians airing on TNT, Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 8 PM ET|PT.
Leverage executive producers John Rogers, Dean Devlin, Marc Roskin join Noah Wyle to bring us The Librarians and I’m beyond ready. On Sunday, December 7th at 8 PM, TNT will let us lucky viewers move forward in the The Librarian made-for-TV original movie universe and meet some new characters to bring this franchise to a whole new level.
The season premiere will be back-to-back episodes of goodness. First up at 8 PM, “And the Crown of King Arthur.” Flynn Carsen (Noah Wyle) will work with his new Guardian, Colonel Eve Baird (Rebecca Romijn) to save the remaining three potential Librarians from someone who is trying to kill them. Then at 9 PM, “And the Sword in the Stone.” Eve Baird, Flynn Carsen, and the potential Librarians work together to stop the Serpent Brotherhood from bringing magic to the world. Both episodes were directed by Dean Devlin and written by John Rogers.

Joining Rebecca Romijin and Noah Wyle in The Librarians cast is John Larroquette as Jenkins, Christian Kane as Jacob Stone, Lindy Booth as Cassandra Cillian, and John Kim as Ezekiel Jones.
Eve Baird has taken on the task of being the Librarian’s Guardian. Before she was recruited by the Library, Eve led the counter-terrorism squad for NATO. Her previous position wasn’t a walk in the park, so Eve will be tough and smart. This supernatural and magical world the Library brings Eve into is new, but she is up for any adventure and will bring her all to protect Flynn and the Library’s new recruits.
Flynn Carsen is no newbie to the Library; he’s been the Librarian for some time. As it was revealed in The Librarian, the made-for-TV original movie franchise, we learned that Flynn has an insane amount of degrees (approximately 22). Being a perpetual student gave Flynn insight when retrieving mystical treasures for the Library’s collection and makes him an amazing Librarian. Unfortunately, Flynn hasn’t always played well with others since he is a loner. Now with the new Library recruits in tow, we will see if Flynn will be able to accept them.

Jacob Stone is from Oklahoma and spent his life hiding his genius in all things art history from the cowboys he worked with on the oil pipeline. Jacob will be a lovely addition to the Library because he may have a mind for art and architecture, but he also can bring a solid right hook into any conversation or scenario.
Cassandra Cillian wasn’t born with a brilliant mind, but her mind contained a life-threatening tumor that gave her the gift of synesthesia. This gives Cassandra the ability to link all her senses to her memory. Her unique memory recall will make her an interesting and invaluable to the Library and the Librarians.
Ezekiel Jones has a history that is filled with many illegal activities, unlike the other folks involved with the Library. Ezekiel is a world-class thief who has only worried about one thing his entire life, himself! His sticky fingers and his willingness to be challenged will be needed when the Librarians are caught in situations where brawn won’t get them what they need. Now all he has to do is prove if he is someone the team can trust.
Jenkins is the caretaker of the Library’s little Annex in Portland, Oregon. Jenkins doesn’t want to come out of his Magic Lab where he is working with his gadgets, so when the crew comes bursting into his world and sets up shop in his space he isn’t too happy about it.
There you have it, Eve Baird the Librarian’s Guardian, Flynn Carsen the Librarian, Jacob Stone the Art Historian, Cassandra Cillian the Mathematician, Ezekiel Jones the Theif, and Jenkins the Caretaker-they all make up the characters of The Librarians.
