Watch sneak peeks of Jane The Virgin season 1, episode 8 “Chapter Eight,” airing tonight at 9:00pmET on The CW.
Jane The Virgin‘s “Chapter Seven” featured some serious relationship issues. First, Jane ( Gina Rodriguez) and Michael (Brett Dier) were in the midst of their break-up and found themselves exchanging and giving back stuff that had migrated to the others’ place. Michael seemed to be in denial and refused to believe that he and Jane couldn’t work things out. At least this was until he came across the flowers that Rafael (Justin Baldoni) sent to Jane… that was a tough scene to watch. It was even more difficult to watch Michael haul off and have sex with his partner. *sigh* I’ve always said that I truly believe Michael loves Jane, so it had to be hurtful for him to see Jane (seemingly) moving on so quickly.
But the truth is that, even though she and Rafael shared a pretty magical kiss, Jane is determined to take things slow. These two are so adorable together! Every time Rafael is around Jane, his face lights up. I know that Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil ) are suspicious of Rafael, but I really think he’ll do his best to be there for Jane. The scene when Rogelio confronts Rafael about making sure he treats Jane right is hilarious. Rogelio can be a little daffy, but it’s clear that he cares about Jane and wants to protect her.
And speaking of Xo and Rogelio, they’re both in denial too! That double-date they went on was crazy. They definitely have strong feelings for each other, so why keep denying it? With that said, Xo’s date, Marco (Nicholas Gonzalez), is all kinds of gorgeous! Even though I think Rogelio and Xo are great together, I wouldn’t mind seeing more of Marco 😉
In tonight’s episode, “Chapter Eight”:
A music producer contacts Xo about recording a demo, but Xo’s unaware that Rogelio is behind this. Meanwhile, Jane and Rafael share surprising secrets with one another; Michael comes close to solving his case; and Petra won’t make things easy for Rafael. (via TV Guide)
Andrea Navedo talks to us a little bit more about what we can expect from the show in this clip:
And in this sneak peek of the episode, Xo and Jane disagree about Jane’s intentions to keep seeing Rafael:
*SIGH* What do you think Jane will do?
