Tonight Firestorm makes his official debut on the mid-season finale of The Flash, season 1, episode 9, “The Man in the Yellow Suit” airing on the CW at 8/7c.
Upon watching the season premiere of The Flash I’ve been on the edge of my seat each episode. The cast, crew, and production team have done something with The Flash, in my opinion that no other comic to TV show adaptation has been able to do so far. They’ve captured our attentions from the premiere and keep it throughout each episode. So far in this season of we met met DC Comics supervillains Blackout, Captain Cold, Chroma, Clock King, Clyde Mardon, Girder, and Mist. Now it’s time for us to meet Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell), now metahuman hero, Firestorm. Ronnie was Catilin Snow’s (Danielle Panabaker) love who sacrificed himself the night the advanced particle accelerator malfunctioned during a severe thunderstorm. And if that wasn’t enough to get to see Firestorm, we are going back into Barry’s (Grant Gustin) childhood and revisiting the murder of his mother and having The Flash face-off with Reverse Flash. To have Ronnie come back as a metahuman and to get some interaction with Reverse Flash will be an interesting plot twist along with a great way to end the mid-season finale.
In episode 109, “The Man in the Yellow Suit”:
Barry faces his nemesis Reverse Flash, who killed his mother, and plots with Wells and Cisco to trap him. Meanwhile, Eddie gives Iris a surprising gift at Christmas and leaves her with a question that could change her life. (via TV Guide)
