Grant O’Rourke and Stephen Walters discuss time traveling in behind-the-scenes interview for “Outlander Offerings”
Ever since we got the extended scene between Claire and Rupert for the first “4 Droughtlander” in November, I’ve been hoping and wishing that we’d get a chance to hear more from Rupert MacKenzie (Grant O’Rourke) and Angus Mhor (Stephen Walters). Those two characters are hilarious together and with Claire (Caitriona Balfe), and they always add humor to any scene they’re in.
Case in point: earlier this week for “Outlander Offerings” STARZ shared this behind-the-scenes interview with Grant and Stephen. In the chat, they consider which time period would they most like to visit if they could go through the stones at Craigh na Dun. Once they have assurances that they’d be able to return safely, both Grant and Stephen talk about the 1960s and loving the music, culture, and politics. With that said, Grant isn’t really confident in his ability to survive in the past, especially when it comes to the possibilities of murder and disease. Check out the video below:
SO FUNNY! It’s clear that these two actors add a lot of their natural humor to their characters as well. I have to agree with Grant–I’m not sure that I would survive very well in the past either and certainly not as well as Claire does!
Would you go through the stones at Craigh na Dun if you could? What time period would you most like to visit? Share your thoughts in comments!
