Kai done done it now! Get your sneak peek into tonight’s season 6, mid-season premiere of The Vampire Diaries airing on The CW at 8 PM (ET/PT).
Six weeks ago when we left the Mystic Fall gang in present day 2014 and prison hell in 1994 Christmas was all around. Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) was telling her favorite holiday to shove it. Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) were attempting to locate a kidnapped Dr. Jo Laughlin (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) thanks to her twin brother Kai Parker (Chris Wood). All the while, Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) and Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) learn that Sheriff Liz Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) has cancer and Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig) tries to take down Enzo (Michael Malarkey), but fails.
Now up on The Vampire Diaries season 6, mid-season premiere, “Woke Up with a Monster” (directed by Paul Wesley) airing tonight on The CW at 8 PM (ET/PT), Kai the serial kidnapper has taken Elena right off the Salvatore doorstep. He’s holding Elena captive in the hopes of practicing his magic on her in attempt to get control over the Traveler magic coursing through his body. His twin sister Jo, in an effort to get strong enough to take Kai out, is hold up in the Salvatore mansion getting training from her boyfriend Alaric Saltzman (Matthew Davis) and her baby sister Liv Parker (Penelope Mitchell). Meanwhile, Caroline will do everything in her power to find a cure for her mother’s cancer and decides to travel to Duke to see a specialist. Knowing that Caroline is heading straight to his niece Sarah Salvatore (Tristin Mays), Stefan goes along with her and he’s come face-to-face with Enzo.
Will Elena get rescued, will Enzo get the skinny on what Stefan is hiding, does Jo have what it takes to beat Kai? Hopefully, we will get those answers in “Woke Up with a Monster.” But for now, let’s take a sneak peek into tonight’s mid-season premiere of The Vampire Diaries. First up, we get an inside look into the episode with Executive Producers Julie Plec and Caroline Dries. Followed by two clips, the first one is Liv and Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) discussing Jo’s training and in the second one we see Damon letting Caroline know that he doesn’t believe that vampire blood will cure her mother.
It looks like The Vampire Diaries, “Woke Up with a Monster” will be action packed. So tune in and join me on twitter when I live tweet the episode at 8 PM ET.
