We’re about two weeks away from Fifty Shades of Grey‘s theatrical release, and Universal Pictures/Focus Features continues to deliver some awesome goodies for us to enjoy as we countdown to February 13!
Earlier this week, they shared a new behind-the-scenes interview with Fifty Shades‘ director Sam Taylor-Johnson discussing the creation of Christian Grey’s Escala penthouse. She talks about the importance of using Christian’s apartment to portray the contrast between his world and Ana’s. Production really wanted to create a space that would resonate with those of us who love the book. We also get new clips from the movie of Ana’s (Dakota Johnson) first time visiting Escala as well as Ana and Christian (Jamie Dornan) enjoying some breakfast together:

“Me.”
*FLAILS* That set really is phenomenal and absolutely matches what I envisioned while reading. From the piano to the grand, open spaces, and the killer view, this IS Christian’s apartment!
