Actress and singer/songwriter Emily Kinney to guest star on The Flash, plus you can now pre-order the completed 1st season on Blu-Ray and DVD on Amazon.
I have two juicy pieces of news regarding the hit show The Flash. First up, The Walking Dead alumna Emily Kinney will have a guest starring role in Season 1 of The Flash. Emily will star as Brie Larvan (possibly meta-human Bug-Eyed Bandit) in Episode 18: “All-Star Team Up” airing on The CW on March 17, 2015. The Flash is making DC Comics Bug-Eyed Bandit (an inventor who designed machinery to control insects) a female and I’m all for it. However, it appears that Brie Larvan won’t be controlling insects but she will be tech genius. According to Variety, “All-Star Team Up” will be another Arrow/The Flash crossover episode in which Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) go to Central City so Ray can get the S.T.A.R. Labs crew to assist him with his ATOM suit. While there Felicity recognizes Brie as an enemy and a hacker battle ensues to save The Flash’s life. Too bad another former The Walking Dead alumna Audrey Marie Anderson, who portrays Lyla Michaels on Arrow won’t be crossing paths with Brie Larvan in this episode. Regardless, “All-Star Team Up” sounds like it’s going to be a great episode.
Take a gander at The Flash’s Twitter account (@CW_TheFlash) retweet of the official announcement from Variety.
