Get a sneak peek into The CW’s new show iZOMBIE, premiering on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 9 PM (ET/PT).
Rob Thomas the creator of Veronica Mars and Diane Ruggiero a producer on the same stellar show have come together to bring DC Comics‘s Vertigo comic book iZOMBIE, created by writers Chris Roberson and Michael Allred to TV. The iZOMBIE TV series is loosely based on the comic, but that doesn’t make me any less excited for the series.
iZOMBIE is set to premiere on The CW on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at 9 PM (ET/PT) and stars Rose McIver as Olivia ‘Liv’ Moore, Malcolm Goodwin as Detective Clive Babineaux, Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, David Anders as Blaine, and Robert Buckley as Major Lilywhite. iZOMBIE tells the story of Liv, a medical student, who becomes a zombie after the undead attack a party she attends. To cope with this new life she breaks off ties with her fella Major and takes a job at the morgue with Forensic Pathologist for the Seattle Police Morgue, Dr. Chakrabarti. In her new role, Liv uses visions she acquires after eating corpses brains to help assist Detective Babineaux solve crimes. So we have zombies, crime fighting, and science, this all sounds like a win to me.
In the below first look into the series we meet Liv Moore, Dr. Chakrabarti, and Clive Babineaux and learn a bit about how these three may work together to help the people of Seattle.
Recently The CW Television Network blessed us with some cast interviews, get a gander at what the cast had to say about their characters:

Let’s learn a little about the cast of iZOMBIE:
Many know Rose McIver from her stint as Tinker Bell on Once Upon a Time and as Vivian Scully on Masters of Sex. But this New Zealand native has been acting since she was child and starring in countless TV series such as Maddigan’s Quest and Power Rangers R.P.M.
Malcolm Goodwin is an actor, director, and producer. Malcolm has appeared in TV show fan favorites like Elementary, House of Cards, and Law & Order, but he might be most known for his roles a Jimmy Zee in American Gangster and Shea Daniels in Breakout Kings.
Rahul Kohli appears to be new on the acting scene for American audiences, but this 6′ 4″ London native had a professional acting career with The National Theatre and is credited for work on the popular British show Eastenders.
David Anders is not new to The CW family and fanbase since he portrayed John Gilbert on The Vampire Diaries. But before Anders was The Vampire Diaries he was also in TV series 24, Alias, and Heroes and along with Rose he was on Once Upon a Time as Dr. Whale/Dr. Victor Frankenstein.
Robert Buckley for many is known for his role on One Tree Hill as Clayton Evans, but he has also appeared in 666 Park Avenue and Lipstick Jungle. Buckley also has director, producer, and writing credits within his career.
I’m ready for iZOMBIE to premiere on The CW on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 and remember with iZOMBIE taking the 9 PM (ET/PT) slot on Tuesdays, that means Supernatural moves to its new night on Wednesdays at 9 PM (ET/PT) on March 18, 2015.
