STARZ released a new Jamie-centric trailer for Outlander Season 1B. Get glimpses of scenes from upcoming episodes and Jamie POV.
My fellow Sassenachs, STARZ is determined to keep spoiling us with Outlander Season 1B goodies, and I couldn’t be happier! I’m still reeling over the 30+ images from the upcoming eight episodes that we got earlier this week. And then earlier today, STARZ shared another trailer that gives us more glimpses of what’s to come.
This trailer is actually quite similar to an earlier preview of Outlander’s ninth episode (“The Reckoning”) that aired on January 24 ahead of the premiere of Black Sails’ second season. Jamie (Sam Heughan) reflects on his life so far and the importance and inevitability of choice…“It’s strange the things you remember…” But this time, as Jamie is talking, scenes from past and upcoming episodes flash by: Black Jack (Tobias Menzies) assaulting Jenny (Laura Donnelly) and then whipping Jamie; Jamie and Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) first meeting, their wedding night; Jamie saving Claire from BJR; Jamie at Wentworth Prison, and more. I’m looking forward to some romantic and passionate Jamie/Claire moments, but is that anticipation enough to quell my fear of what’s to come in Wentworth Prison? I don’t know…
