Let’s learn more about the Male Clones before the Orphan Black Season 3 premiere on BBC America on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 9/8c.
Orphan Black Season 3 is a little over a month away and before the premiere where we find out what is next for the Leda sisters, let’s learn a bit more about the Castor brothers that we got introduced to in Season 2. In the below video, Tatiana Maslany, Ari Millen and Orphan Black Executive Producer Graeme Manson gives us a sneak peek into the Castor Clones.
Ari Millen has taken on the task of playing the Castor Clones who unlike the Project Leda sisters have known about each other for quite some time. We are first introduced to Ari Millen in the Season 2 premiere, “Nature Under Constraint and Vexed” where he portrays Prolethean Mark/Mark Rollins, a solider who went AWOL and is the protégé of Prolethean Henrik Johanssen (Peter Outerbridge). It isn’t until the Orphan Black Season 2 finale when it is discovered that Mark is actually a clone from Project Castor, the brother arm to Project Leda.
Let’s learn a bit more about the Castor Clones that Ari Millen portrays.
Mark
As mentioned Mark Rollins made his appearance in the beginning of Season 2. The violent protégé of the late Prolethean Henrik Johanssen runs away with Gracie Johannssen (Zoé De Grand Maison) after Helena (Tatiana Maslany) burns down the Prolethean Ranch. It appears Mark has a desire for a life with Gracie and wants to separate from his Castor clones. In Season 3, the answers we hope to find out is how and why is Mark with the Proletheans? And will Mark be able to leave his Castor brothers and start a life with Gracie.
Rudy
Is also known as Scarface. Rudy was raised to be trained fighter under the military. He is a demented, ruthless, Castor clone with brutal scar that graces the right side of his face. He is quite protective of his clone brothers and in Season 3,we hope to find out how far he is willing to go to protect his Castor clones.
Seth
Is often used as a pawn from his eldest Castor brother Rudy. He’s not the brightest in the Castor clone pack, but his obedience makes up for his lack in intellect. Seth is the Castor brother that has a mustache and in Season 3, it will be interesting to see how far Rudy will go to test Seth’s devotion.
Miller
The Castor brother who is making every effort to climb the officer ranks even though he is no longer assigned missions in the field due to his prosthetic leg. This Castor solider does have a chip on his shoulder, but he is quite loyal. In Season 3, let’s see how far his loyalty will be put to test and will his willingness help him in his career efforts.

Ari Millen has his work cut out for him portraying the Castor clones, but he has a wonderful guide with Tatiana Maslany. We look forward to the wild ride of Castor vs. Leda that it appears that Orphan Black Season 3 will bring us.
