Season 3 of Orange in the New Black is steadily approaching and Netflix releases the trailer for the upcoming season that has us all screaming #SorryNotSorry!
In 3 months, many of us will suddenly develop some horrible cold or have a fake death in the family that will require us to be off of work or school on June 12, 2015. Solely so we can binge-watch season 3 of Netflix Original Series Orange is the New Black. C’mon, most of us have been fiending for this upcoming season about 2 seconds after we finished the final episode in season 2, “We Have Manners. We’re Polite”.
When Netflix announced in 2013 that Emmy award-winning creator of Weeds, Jenji Kohan, was adapting the book Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison by Piper Kerman for a Netflix Original Series jaws dropped. We all know the genius of Jenji, but could she turn a New York Times bestseller into a hit series?! Not only did she, but she surpassed the book in my opinion. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Piper Kerman’s book, but I fully understood the appeal. But the introduction of new characters and changing the dynamic of the individuals in Kerman’s book made the TV series Orange is the New Black utter gold.
Now with season 3 rapidly approaching, we all have to impatiently wait to see what will happen after the shake-up for the women of Litchfield, on top of a couple of escapes and a murder. In the interim, watch the glorious Season 3 trailer for Netflix Original Series Orange is the New Black.
I’m so #SorryNotSorry and I hope we get to hear the story that Suzanne ‘Crazy Eyes’ Warren (Uzo Aduba) wrote about “two people connecting with four other people, and aliens.” Also, while you wait for season 3 of Orange is the New Black, stream season 1 and 2 now on Netflix.
A dozen Emmy Award nominations went to this acclaimed comedy drama series including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing and Outstanding Lead Actress for star Taylor Schilling. A crime she committed in her youthful past sends Piper Chapman (Schilling) to a women’s prison, where she trades her comfortable New York life for one of unexpected camaraderie and conflict in an eccentric group of fellow inmates.
