Season 1 of Gotham only has TWO EPISODES left! Get a sneak peek into tonight’s episode of Gotham, “The Anvil or the Hammer” airing on FOX at 8/7c.
Last week on Gotham, season 1, episode 20, “Under the Knife,” The Orge (Milo Ventimiglia) made his presence known to Bullock (Donal Logue) and Gordon (Ben McKenzie). He actually taunted them, well, more so Gordon. It was great to see this in action. The Orge had Gordon running around because Gordon thought the Orge was going after Leslie (Morena Baccarin), but in reality he was making moves on Barbara (Erin Richards). And those moves were interesting to see! The Orge at first was tempting Barbara only to kill her, then the tide shifted and Barbara became more of an interest to the Orge. Let’s be honest, their chemistry was palpable for the viewers. From the dance moves, the conversations, the eye sex in the Orge’s steel room of pain. It was hawt! Made one question, did the Orge meet his match with Barbara? One would think Barbara would have run for the hills when she saw the destruction he could cause, but she looked extremely interested.
Meanwhile, Oswald (Robin Lord Taylor) was showing the spoils of his fortune to his mother, Gertrude (Carol Kane), and Don Maroni (David Zayas) attempted to ruin it by spilling all of Cobblepot’s horrible secrets. Gertrude being the cray-cray, in denial mother that she is, will live on as if her son is perfect. Even though he murdered someone right outside her apartment after telling her everything that Maroni stated were lies. Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) came to aid of Ms. Kringle (Chelsea Spack) and murdered her abusive boyfriend. After the murder it looked like Nygma was in a state of fear and excitement over spilling blood for possibly the first-time, and it makes us wonder will be see the Joker before the end of Gotham season 1. And finally, Bruce (David Mazouz) and Selina (Camren Bicondova) now fully realize that they will handle justice differently.
Tonight on Gotham, season 1, episode 21 “The Anvil or the Hammer”:
The Ogre breaks down Barbara’s emotions, while Gordon and Bullock go to great lengths to track him down. Meanwhile, Penguin leads a massacre, beginning an epic war, while Bruce learns the truth about Wayne Enterprises and Nygma deals with his recent actions. (via FOX)
