As we previously mentioned, one of the main contenders for high honors at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival is Lionsgate’s Sicario. Yesterday, stars Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, Director Denis Villeneuve, Producers Basil Iwanyk and Molly Smith, and Director of Photography Roger Deakins appeared at the Cannes official photo call at the and then completed a press conference for the film. Later that evening, cast and crew also walked the Palais des Festivals red carpet before Sicario‘s in-competition screening/world premiere.

Sicario opens in the US in limited release on September 18, 2015, and opens wide on September 25, 2015.
