Hannibal and Bedelia are in Europe causing drama to others and each other. Tonight on Hannibal: Season 3, Episode 2 “Primavera” we find out what is going on with Will Graham.
The season 3 premiere of Hannibal opened with Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) racing through a European city streets on a motorcycle. Fannibals on the Interwebs hearts were beating out their chests due to all the flailing that was occurring. Dr. Hannibal Lecter on a motorcycle was extremely hot, but the scene (like all Hannibal scenes) was brilliantly shot. We later see on Hannibal, “Antipasto” that Hannibal and Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) are living in Italy as Dr. and Mrs. Roman Fell.
Hannibal evaded FBI capture and with Bedelia in tow move to Europe and after Dr. Lecter kills Dr. Roman Fell (Jeremy Crutchley) takes on his life and settles in Florence, Italy. Hannibal and Bedelia aren’t living a charmed life; Bedelia even though she never looks like she has a hair out-of-place looks quite frazzled living with Hannibal. Hannibal is making her face the demons of her past (the truth behind Neal Frank’s (Zachary Quinto) death) and forces her to decide if she will be an active participant in his lifestyle. Hannibal as Dr. Fell is getting no respect from Sogliato (Rinaldo Rocco), his superior at the institution he is teaching at. And it makes one wonder if Sogliato will be alive in an episode or two.
As mentioned we go down memory lane into Bedelia’s past, but we also get beautiful black and white flashbacks of Hannibal’s time with Dr. Abel Gideon (Eddie Izzard). Each flashback we experience, we see Dr. Gideon lose one appendage after the next, but we also see that Dr. Gideon gave through his verbal wit as much as Dr. Lecter took from him. Also, on Hannibal, “Antipasto” we get a guest appearance from my personal favorite Tom Wisdom. Tom stars as Anthony Dimmond, someone who met Hannibal Lecter early in another city and runs into him later as he is masquerading as Dr. Fell. Anthony plays along and doesn’t let on that he knows the deceit that is occurring to Sogliato, but in the end it cost him his life and his death forces Bedelia with heavy persuasion from Hannibal to decide that she will be a participant in Hannibal’s proclivities.

Tonight, we go back to Virginia to see what has happened to Will Graham:
With his wounds now healed, Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) heads to Europe eight months after the horrific event that almost took his life, in search of closure with Hannibal Lecter. Following a hunch, Will arrives in Palermo, Italy to find a disturbing gift. Will’s arrival draws suspicion from Inspector Rinaldo Pazzi (guest star Fortunato Cerlino), who twenty years earlier pursued a Florentine killer known as “Il Mostro” and, after reading Will’s file, believes that Hannibal Lecter and “Il Mostro” are one and the same. Pazzi tries to enlist Will’s help in catching Hannibal, but Will warns that he is unsure of where his own allegiance lies. (via NBC)
