20th Century Fox and New Regency announced the upcoming animated film, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip hitting theaters everywhere on December 23, 2015. The film was directed by Walt Becker, produced by Janice Karman and Ross Bagdasarian, and screenplay by Adam Sztkiel, based on the characters Alvin and Chipmunks created by Ross Bagdasarian.

Through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in New York City…and dump them.
