In new interviews with MTV and Entertainment Tonight, Shailene Woodley, Theo James, and Allegiant cast-members talk about filming their intense action scenes.
Yesterday was an incredible day for Divergent fans! We got our very first look at The Divergent Series: Allegiant, including a glimpse at what the world beyond the Wall (*spoiler alert* it’s pretty bleak) and Tris meeting David, the head of the Bureau for Genetic Welfare. MTV’s Josh Horowitz also took us behind-the-scenes to chat with Shailene Woodley, Miles Teller, and other members of the cast.
Today, we got to see more of Josh’s time on the Allegiant set. In this segment Shai and Ansel Elgort talk about the film’s insane action sequences—specifically what went into filming the scene where Tris, Four, and the gang scale the giant wall surrounding Chicago. Unsurprisingly, Caleb/Ansel’s experience is less graceful than the others (*giggles*). Newbies Jeff Daniels, Bill Skarsgård, and Nadia Hilker also talk about their experience joining the franchise:

Yesterday, Entertainment Tonight aired a similar segment, this time with Shai, Miles, Theo James, Zoe Kravitz also talking about conquering the Wall and what the Divergent series has meant for their careers. We get a couple glimpses of the actors actually filming various scenes too:
It’s so crazy to think that Divergent only came out last year! It’s been amazing to see these actors grow in their Divergent characters and also in other roles.
The Divergent Series: Allegiant hits theaters on March 18, 2016 and Ascendant brings the series to its explosive end March 24, 2017.
