How to Get Away with Murder‘s second season begins tonight and there are several surprises in store for us! Get a sneak peek of “It’s Time to Move On”, airing at 10:00pm ET|PT on ABC.
I know many of us are still celebrating Viola Davis’ gloriously well-deserved, history-making Emmy win for How to Get Away with Murder (Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series). But that wonderful thing is that the celebration continues because HTGAWM returns for it’s second season tonight! Ms. Viola was a guest on The Ellen Show today and promised that there are so many surprises, so many shocking moments, she truly believes this premiere will break twitter (LAWD!).
We know from the season trailer that we’ll learn who killed Rebecca at the end of last season (someone Annalise likely ends up yelling at for being a “monster”). The official synopsis for “It’s Time to Move On” (written by Pete Nowalk and directed by Bill D’Elia) tells us a little more:
Annalise and her students must move on with their lives as though nothing has happened, but the students are still reeling over Rebecca’s disappearance. Only Annalise and Frank know that Rebecca was murdered and the two are determined to find out who killed her. Meanwhile, Annalise decides she wants to take on a new client, a brother and sister who are accused of killing their parents. And an old friend surprises Annalise at home and teaches her a valuable lesson. (via ABC)
Famke Janssen (Jean Grey from the X-Men films!) guest stars as Eve, Annalise’s “old friend”, but judging from this sneak peek, these two may not be so friendly anymore:
Goodness, Annalise is *done* with the Keating 5 (or 4). To be honest, I don’t think I blame her. They haven’t really done so well under pressure, especially Connor and Michaela.
But Annalise is interrupted when Eve arrives and I know we’re all wondering who in the world this lady is and what sort of trouble she’s abou to unleash!
Check out a second clip where Annalise and Frank discuss their suspicions about who killed Rebecca. Like me, Frank seems to think Wes might be guilty:
So many questions! Many of them will likely be answered tonight while creating even more drama and mystery. I CANNOT WAIT.
How to Get Away with Murder airs tonight at 10:00pm ET|PT, so tune into ABC and come live tweet with me!
