Right on the eve of Mockingjay Month, Tributes will be able to kick things off with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at all things The Hunger Games!
Earlier today Lionsgate Television announced the upcoming special Jet to the Set: The Hunger Games, which premieres on PopTV Thursday, October 29 at 9:00pm ET|PT.
The one-hour TV special, hosted by TV personality Carly Steel (CBS’ Entertainment Tonight) and Hollywood insider/style guru Laurie Feltheimer (Hot in Hollywood), was filmed in Atlanta, the primary location of The Hunger Games films. The show is an awesome mix of travel, adventure and pop culture, featuring BTS access to set locations, including: The Victor’s Training Center, President Snow’s Mansion, and the 75th Hunger Games Cornucopia. Viewers will witness Laurie’s incredible transformation to Effie Trinket with make-up and special effects, plus we’ll watch Carly perfect her archery skills.
We’ll get a sneak-peek clip from Mockingjay Part 2 (*EXCITE*), as well as exclusive interviews with Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth.
As if that isn’t enough, Laurie and Carly will guide viewers through the jewel of the South, providing the ultimate insider look at what’s hot in Atlanta. Fans will learn how to experience the city just like the stars of The Hunger Games with a glimpse at the hippest restaurants and local hot spots. This means special appearances from Patina Miller (Commander Paylor) and more folks who will give us the authentic lowdown on Atlanta.
