Watch Vin Diesel, Elijah Wood, and Rose Leslie take on rogue witches to save the world in the newest trailer and official clips from The Last Witch Hunter, out next Friday! Tickets are now available for pre-order.
Halloween is around the corner, and there’s nothing more perfect than having a good, scary, witch-y film to watch! With The Last Witch Hunter, there’s an added bonus of an interesting mythology (secret order of the Axe and Cross), fantasy, and lots of intense action.
The immortal Kaulder (Vin Diesel) is engaged in a centuries-old battle between good and evil, and with help from Dolan 36 (Michael Caine), Dolan 37 (Elijah Wood), and Chloe (Rose Leslie), they might be able to stop the Queen Witch from destroying the world.
Learn more in the latest movie trailer, which features a cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Paint It Black,” recorded by Ciara exclusively for The Last Witch Hunter. According to Ciara:
I am honored to have been asked to cover such an iconic song by one of music’s greatest bands, the Rolling Stones, for the film. “Paint It Black” matches the film’s mystical and suspenseful plot perfectly. The film and song have the magical recipe that combines romanticism with a touch of black! I cannot wait to see and hear the film and the song on the big screen with the rest of the world.
Last week Vin, Elijah, Rose, and director Breck Eisner attended a panel at New York Comic-Con and debuted TWO clips from The Last Witch Hunter (which you can watch below). The first (“Wake Up”) is a scene of the immortal Kaulder in a spell sequence between the past and present, while he battles an evil warlock enemy. In the second clip (“Trouble”), Kaulder performs a spell to reveal hidden dark magic to Dolan 37.
Finally, if you liked Ciara’s cover, watch a sizzle reel with various scenes from the film se to “Paint It Black”:
