Curious about the second half of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder? Newly released TGiT trailers give us a sneak peek of the midseason premieres!
If you watched the TGiT Winter finales (and/or read our TGiT Midseason Recap), you know that Shondaland is in total disarray!
In Grey’s Anatomy, the situation with Owen and Riggs is still a mystery. Somehow, Riggs is linked to the Hunt family, through Owen’s sister. And even though Owen has no trouble punching Riggs in the face, Owen’s mother still seems to care. Yet, the most disturbing development is the total rift in Meredith and Amelia’s relationship, driving Amelia to the bottom of a liquor bottle.
As far as Scandal, I’m totally at a loss…as you probably know by now, I’m such a huge Fitzlivia/Olitz fan and the fact that they were together and out in the world elevated my whole life. But I feel like we couldn’t truly enjoy these two being together. Leading up to the winter finale, it started to feel like Fitz was keeping Liv against her will. And now that Liv has had an abortion, I don’t think there’s any way the relationship can be salvaged. I just wish we could have more context about why Liv believed that was her best choice. However, in other developments, it seems the Papa Pope/Jake relationship is back in full effect, and I for one, am very worried.
Then How to Get Away with Murder…we’ve always known that Annalise’s attachment to Wes (or should I say Christoph!) is an odd combination between mentor, mother, and potential lover. Yet now we know that Annalise has known Wes since he was a child, though the full capacity of the prior relationship is unclear. Of course, we have to wonder if Annalise will even survive! And what could either outcome mean for the Keating 5, Nate, Bonnie, Frank and the Hapstalls?

Goodness gracious!
First, why can’t Meredith have nice things?! Watching that patient attack her is so brutal…and if Shonda has Mer narrating her own death like she did with Derek, I’m going to lose it!
Second, I cannot with the possibility that Liv will go back to Jake. I’m not even going to entertain that possibility. However, I am excited about the potential Liv/Mellie team. They’d run one hell of a campaign!
And finally, it looks like Annalise will survive being shot. This might even be the catalyst for Nate forgiving her for all the shenanigans. Plus, (if we assume that baby at the end is Wes/Christophe) we’ll be seeing how Annalise comes to know him.
Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder all return in two weeks on Thursday, February 11, starting at 8:00pm ET|PT on ABC.
