Tonight we’ll finally learn #WhoSoldMikeOut! Get a sneak peek of the new Suits (“Live to Fight”), airing at 10:00pm ET|PT on USA Network.
Watching last week’s Suits Winter Premiere (“Blowback“), something becomes very clear—life is going to get a lot more difficult before it gets better, and this applies to everyone! U.S. Attorney Anita Gibbs is determined to bring down Pearson/Specter/Litt, and she will use ANY means to do so.
For me, I’m most concerned about the relationship between Mike and Rachel. She plans to stand by his side, no matter what. While this makes me happy, another part of me is worried about what this will do to Rachel’s relationship with her parents. Robert Zane is completely done with Mike (Harvey and Jessica too), and is actively encouraging Rachel to abandon ship. I hope we’ll get a chance to hear what Mrs. Zane has to say too, but I don’t think she’ll feel very charitable towards Mike.
In other developments, Donna has officially returned to Harvey, courtesy of Louis’ benevolence. And after Ms. Gibbs showed that she has no compunctions about breaking deals with Harvey, he’s going to need all of Donna’s help. Jack Soloff has agreed to be silent (for now), so at least Harvey will be able to return to the office without fear of retribution from Charles Forstman.
However, the question remains: WHO IS HELPING GIBBS? Who turned Mike in and who’s supplying the prosecution with all this information? Do you have any guesses or theories?
We can expect the following in tonight’s new episode of Suits (written by Aaron Korsh, directed by Rob Seidenglanz):
Mike and Louis must identify an anonymous tipster in order to diffuse a damning piece of evidence. Meanwhile, Gibbs isn’t just after Mike, she’s set her sights on Jessica and Harvey as well. (via NBCUniversal)
It seems that Louis is joining the team to fend off Anita Gibbs’ investigation of Mike. The truth of the matter is that if this situation goes pear-shaped, Harvey, Jessica, Donna, Rachel, AND Louis are all on the hook too.
Speaking of Donna, it looks like Ms. Gibbs is already coming after her. In this sneak peek of the upcoming show, Donna is questioned about what she knows of Harvey and Mike’s relationship:
