When you have a friend that is beautiful (inside and out), kind, smart, and a genius you feel the need to let the world know. For today’s Saturday Shout-out it’s a pleasure to introduce you to Zanymouse aka Zina!
Zina has been a blessing the world with her craft genius since she was a child. At 11 she began to sew; she even made her own 8th grade graduation dress! Later in life the quilting bug bit her creative heart and she’s been creating amazing quilts for the last nine years. Throughout this time family and friends saw Zina’s talent and began to request custom items to make their lives a little more nerdy. I’m one of those friends!
Zina has blessed my Comic-Con International: San Diego experience for the last 5 years with custom Doctor Who TARDIS and Star Wars messenger bags. Her gift has helped me cosplay on the DL. One day, I hope I can figure out the exact outfit for her create for me so I can get my full cosplay on. Just last year as we waited for the surprise Star Wars: The Force Awakens concert to begin at SDCC 2015 we sat on this beautiful quilt that Zina created:
