Happy Birthday, Dr. Fun! Charlie Hunnam and I were just discussing last night how much we hope your birthday is full of good cheer and plenty of goood drinks. Then Theo James dropped by and he told me he wanted to actually visit and surprise you on your birthday and I said that was totally unnecessary. After all, you’re going to be partying pretty hard and he would only get in the way. Theo understood and decided to hang out with me and Charlie. It was a pretty boring night for me, so I’m jealous that it’s your birthday and that you are going to have a lot more fun than I’m having.

Funmbi you are both talented and inspiring, thank you for recognising a fellow wordsmith and encouraging the pursuit of writing. I am so grateful to have had you enter my life, giving me the opportunity to witness the example you set as a friend and mentor to others.
Though there’s an ocean between us, your example is far from dulled. Celebrate your birthday knowing there are wishes being sent 5 hours from the future; and most importantly, don’t share the cake. Eat it all, but perhaps, save a slither for Sam Heughan.

Funmbi, words can never properly express how blessed I am for knowing you. Never did I anticipate us becoming best buds when we “met” over the Interwebs around this time in 2011, thanks to Jess/@luvsmesomedward! Honestly, since I’m a hermit, I just anticipated I would meet a fellow blerd that I would chat with online from time to time after SDCC 2011. But from the moment I opened the hotel room door, I knew in my heart you and I would become fast friends. Your smile is infectious, your intellect often knocks me on my bum, and your beauty radiates every space you bless with your presence.
