Fox releases a new trailer for the upcoming Prison Break reboot with more details about what awaits Michael and Lincoln. Also watch a clip from this year’s Comic-Con!

Back in 2010/2011, I did my grad school fieldwork in Nigeria. As you can imagine, it was pretty tough being away from home, but aside from calls/messages from friends and family, there were two things that helped me beat back my homesickness. The first was Twilight fanfiction (by now you know my Twi-love), and the second was Prison Break.
I still remember buying the DVDs and using my portable DVD player (borrowed from my Mom) to bingewatch. Once I started watching Prison Break, I couldn’t stop… not for anything!
The story was SO compelling. Besides all the mystery, suspense, and OMG moments, the love between Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) always got me right in my heart.
I also really enjoyed shipping Michael and Sarah Tancredy (Sarah Wayne Callies); Sucre (Amaury Nolasco) was an awesome bestie; and I spent every moment of every episode literally wishing T-Bag (Robert Knepper) would die.
*SPOILER ALERT*
When we got to the end of Season 4 and Michael sacrificed himself to help Sarah break out of prison… I couldn’t handle it. But could he ever have an HEA?
Fast-forward to 2016 and we know that the Prison Break reboot is coming next year!
This probably shouldn’t surprise us, but Michael isn’t dead. In fact, he’s in prison. Now the tables have turned and it’s time for Lincoln to break his younger brother out!

Back at Upfronts, we got a sneak peek of what’s to come, including the highly anticipated reunion.
But this past week, Fox released a new trailer for the upcoming season of Prison Break, which gives us the details we’ve been waiting for.
It turns out Michael is imprisoned in Yemen, of all places. Not only does Lincoln have to break Michael out of prison, but they have to escape the country, itself!
The trailer includes interviews with cast and creators about what we can expect. All our faves will be back and helping to make this great escape happen:
All is not as it seems.
STORY OF OUR LIVES! They accused Michael is working with ISIL… yikes!
And can we talk about the moment Michael meets his son because my body can’t contain all my feelings.
Prison Break was at Comic-Con last month and shared some new footage, too.
Watch the two-minute clip below, which shows us Michael’s life in the Yemeni prison and it looks like the plan to break out is underway:
*SCREAMING*
That is a very important piece of gum and I can’t wait to see how.
What are you most looking forward to in the Prison Break reboot?
