After last Sunday’s devastating episode for The Kingdom on The Walking Dead, it’s time to see how things are going inside the Sanctuary. Here’s your preview for “The Big Scary U”!
We’re still recovering from the heartbreak of losing Shiva and what this will mean for Ezekiel moving forward, but it looks like we’re switching gears this week and taking a closer look at Negan and his men in the Sanctuary.

With war raging all around him, we get a close look at Negan and the lives of the Saviors during the conflict through a familiar set of eyes.
Back in Season Four, when Daryl met up with Joe’ group, Joe explained to him that they have a set of rules and a code to keep stuff from “going Darwin every few minutes”. It appears that Negan is also the stablizing force in his group, and even though he’s a horrible person, his absence could cause some dramatic moments inside the Sanctuary.
Simon wants to know who the person is that’s leaking information to Rick and the others, and his sights could be pointed at Eugene or Dwight. As the picture shows above, Dwight’s not just playing a chess game for fun, but he’s also trying to navigate his pieces so that he can end what Negan has created.
Eugene is definitely vulnerable here, too. After all, he was with Rick for awhile, and his allegiance could be shifty.
Meanwhile, Negan and Gabriel have a heart-to-heart trapped inside the trailer. Could Negan feed him to the walkers to get back inside and straighten his men out? How will they escape?
We’ll have to wait and see, but right now, it looks like we might be in for another bloody episode of The Walking Dead. Keep in mind, “The Big Scary U” takes places the same day as the other four episodes so far.
If we keep this up, the entire first half of Season Eight, could be what happens over the course of one day.
