It looks like we’re back at the Sanctuary this week on The Walking Dead! Negan has a lot of faith in Eugene. Here’s our preview of “Time for After”!

With walkers baring down on the Sanctuary, Negan has to figure out a plan to get his people out. The past few episodes that have focused on Negan have tried to portray him as another “Rick”, just protecting his people.
In “Time for After”, we get a sense that Team Family believes that once they finish off Negan, they’ll finally have an “after” or perhaps, there will be time after this to take a look at what they’ve become since taking on Negan.
In the preview for the upcoming episode, it appears Dwight plays his hand too soon when it comes to Eugene because he tells him:
“This place is going to fall and all you have to do to be on the winning side is nothing.”
We know in the other clip, that Negan explains to Eugene that he thinks he’s strong and values his brain. In the stills from the episode, it looks like Dr. Carson is also appealing to Eugene…maybe he’s trying the “Maggie and her baby” angle?
Without a doubt, Eugene will be a big part of the episode and a playing chip for both sides.

Meanwhile, Michonne tells Daryl:
“What we’re about to do, it’s not worth risking us.”
“It is for me.”
Since the midseason finale of season five, Daryl has faced an uphill battle when it comes to his faith in the world. He’s willing to die here. Much like Gabriel doesn’t want to die a fruitless death, I think that Daryl has a wish for his own end.
He wants it to mean that his family safe, and if that means he dies in the process, so be it. He doesn’t feel like he has anything left to live for.
It’s very bleak for him right now.
Then there’s Morgan.
He makes an appearance for the first time since 8.2, and the brief moment from the video is an exact replica of the scene in which he tries to kill his wife in the first episode of the series.

With news of Lennie James making the crossover to Fear the Walking Dead, it begs the questions how he will exit The Walking Dead. There have been several people say his character isn’t dying, but we’ve been misled by the writers, producers, and actors before.
My only hope is that Morgan’s death isn’t pointless or fruitless. He deserves a peaceful end, to be completely honest.
